Thanks for the link bro... I'm getting my Z-tube and Pop-Charger delivered next week and this will help a bunch.
Can't wait to put my foot in it and hear the roar!!!

Re: Pop charger/Z Tube diy?

Just installed my Z-Tube and Pop-Charger...WOW!!! Excellent sound. The butt-dyno does detect a tad bit more power (not that the G35 6MT was lacking in the first place). I can believe the dyno claim that it adds 6-8HP at the wheels with the Z-Tube/Pop-Charger combo. I looked at the pictures in the DIY web page that the guy at PerfomanceNissanParts put up...(still no text, but not necessary really)...it was fairly simple. The hardest part was removing the lower resonator (see pic). I did that extra step because I want to design and fab an air intake tube to bring cold air in from the front lower grill to the PopCharger filter. I will definitly post a how to when I get around to that project. Theres another guy that did something similar to his installation. I'd like to make a really nice DIY web page if this mod turns out good. I will also plug some of the holes on the bottom pan so water won't splash up unto the filter area. That's the main reason I went with a Pop-Charger instead of a CAI from Nismo or K&N. I live in Houston and where I drive, it floods very frequently, so I would not want to have my air filter anywhere near the splash zone.
