I just recieved my stillen intake and i have a questions for anyone who installed the intake themselves. When i align the filter to the stillen airbox, the top of the filter hits the airbox. (Where the stillen logo is on the box) Is this normal or did i get a defective airbox box from stillen because there is no way to line up the holes w/o the filter hitting?

 

My cone filter rubs the top of the housing, as well. This is the case with both the K&N cone filter, which came with the Stillen, and the JWT popcharger filter, which I am now currently using.

 

hmmm...when I had mine, a while back now, I never had that problem. Did they change the filter size or anything in the last 2 years?

I had one, I dont think it will be a problem.

 

I wouldn't worry about it. Mine does the same thing.
