Question on Sp2 Exhaust or other exhaust
Question on Sp2 Exhaust or other exhaust
I have an 04 G35 Coupe with a Jim Wolf Intake, sunk spacer, and z tube. I want just a little more hp but CANNOT be too loud. I was thinking of picking up a Greddy sp2. Does this exhaust look or sound good? Then I was thinking that if I needed a little more hp, I could get high flow cats. If you guys have any dyno numbers on what exhaust do, or high flow cats, please let me know.
Main goal? A little deeper sound, hopefully a little extra HP, and to do it without buying a $1000 exhaust.

the greddy sp2 alone isn't going to do much, if anything at all, for your performance. you're not going to get the "little more hp" that you're looking for.
high flow cats (~$500) + greddy sp2 (~$500) ~ $1k anyway
i'd highly recommend the stillen exhaust over what you're looking to buy. it's a couple bills more...but much more worth it, IMO.

I'd recommend you get the Fast Intentions or Stillen exhaust.
I hear the Stillen everyday, as my old hs teacher has a G Coupe with Stillen, and happens to live 2 blocks away from me. It sounds great.
As for me, well I have the FI exhaust and couldn't be happier. They are both great; but the Fast Intentions looks SO much better and has a deeper, more exotic growl to it which I personally prefer.
I highly recommend you hear them in person; video's do not do justice to deep exhausts.
