i plan on getting the hks exhaust and from what ive heard on youtube vids it seems ****ing awesome but is their a preference among drivers here?

 

it's a 'you can't go wrong' exhaust. I love the sound, looks, build quality, welding.. etc. i sleep next to it, at night like it was a pillow.

 

no need to make multiple threads. exhaust is personal preference. most sound pretty good.

 

HKS sounds great, you should really hear it in person to do it justice. However, I don't know if it's the best...I would prefer to have the Amuse R1 Titan if money was not a factor.

Stillen, HKS, and Fast Intentions seem to be among the top three most popular exhausts for the coupe. The "performance" difference between the three is marginal. You're not going to be able to tell a huge difference..

The HKS exhaust was what I finally settled on 2 years ago. I actually listened to a few other set-ups prior to making a final decision.

Do yourself a favor and take the time to listen to a few other exhaust systems. That's the best way to make a decision prior to buying. Enjoy!

 

Has HKS revised to 2.5" true dual or are they still 2.25"?

FastIntentions and Stillen are definitely 2.5" true dual.

Not much difference for NA, but 2.5" will carry you into 500+ whp...

 

I believe HKS is still 2.25. No revisions that I have heard of. By the way... Fast Intentions FTMFW
