Intake Intake Intake!!!!
Ok, so I am looking for a new sound and possibly a little increase in HP to my G. All I hear about is the JWT pop charger and z tube. Is this the best to go with? I have never installed anything engine wise, would this be an easy DIY? I want the best possible combo intake setup that is out there. Not looking to spend more than 200. Just want a nice new sound to really show off the g35 sound. Please give me your suggestions and links where I can get them (if any). I look forward to your suggetions and comments. Thanks in advance.

I am rarely one to mention using the "Search" function. However, in this particular case, you would be much better served by using the said. There are so many threads on this specific topic. More info can be gotten by searching than you could possibly receive in this thread.
With regard to installing an intake . . . It's one of the easier mods to install, if not the easiest.

^On the coupe
As far as HP gains, you won't get anything substantial or proven from an intake/filter combo.
I have the pop/ztube combo and love it. The Pop Charger lets off a little whistle...I like that part too
It's really all noise that is added....sweet noise

Ok, so it's either the JWT Pop Charger and Z tube or This: http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?i...E01&c=PE&m=all Which is better and has a better sound/hp gain/ and overall better product. Thanks

As for the intake, the Stillen is my fav because it looks so clean. Along with the UTR CF Z-tube looks great.
As for power, don't expect much. A plenum spacer will give you gains you can feel.

Pop Charger... no thanks due to its hideous "heat-shield".
I say go for the Stilen + Z-tube or Stock Airbox + Drop-in-Filter+ Z-Tube.
Oh yes, and search. It's the most discussed topic in any enthusiast forum.

get the popcharger if you want pretty much the same minimal gains that the stillen offers except the popcharger being a little cheaper (last time i looked) and the awesome whistle.
if in your opinion you think the popcharger heat shield looks that ugly then by all means get the stillen...or just buy the stillen box to cover the popcharger for 80 bucks lol

Keep your stock airbox and drop a Streamline panel filter in there.
The stock air boxes in todays modern cars are pretty dam efficient and hard to beat with just a cone filter on the end of a pipe.
