There is a poll

I would go with the MREV2 + 5/16, as its the best bang for your buck in terms on performance per dollar in NA.

But its gonna cost you about $400 more than the intake setup.

I definitely enjoy the Mrev, spacer and Stillen combination. You cannot go wrong by starting with the MREV and spacer set-up. That is how I and many have approached it. Enjoy!

I dont think anyone is going to pick one or the other. Those are 2 cheap mods that go well together.

actually if you only could get two I would go with the z-tube and MD spacer first. Taking the mainfold off is a breeze... you could do it again later no prob.

Thanks for the votes and advice guys, I appreciate it.

Quick question:

How much HP gain am I looking at with the MREV2 + 5/16 spacer and how much do you think the dealership will charge to install?

Thanks!

It's not really that difficult. If you can change your oil then this mod is pretty easy if you follow the instructions in the booklet. Labor shouldn't be more than 1 hour, knowing stealerships they would probably charge you at least 2 hours because they can. I can't remember if your year model is the REVUP, if so then around 12whp gain, if you have no revup then slightly less, maybe 8-10whp. Remeber this is whp, not measrued at the crank. There was an article in modified mag or some other awhile back.

As mentioned, its not hard to do if you're somewhat mechanically inclined.
Dealers in general will charge more than a competent mechanic shop if you choose not to install yourself. My Dealer hourly rate is $110 or $115/hr...lol

Check their web site. On rev-up with your choice, it's impressive and best $$/HP mod out there imo.
http://www.motordyneengineering.com/G35.htm
quote from mrev2 descript with using 5/16 combo:
Multiple independent test show when used with a 5/16" spacer on the REVUP engine, the combination will add a "minimum" of 15+ HP and 18+ TQ in the upper midrange. Many independent MREV 2 Manifold REVUP tests have dynod in excess of 20HP and 30 TQ in the upper midrange and with high RPM peak power increased by 3-5 HP.

Based on the votes and advice, I'm leaning towards the MREV2 + 5/16 combo.

I live in Central California (Fresno area). Now, do I need the iso-thermal spacer or will the basic do? Not too sure what the difference is and wanted some clarification before putting my order in.

Thanks.
