Sup everyone. So I ordered the Ti Tip Exhaust system directly from Tony at Fast Intentions (great customer service). I'm really excited about it but what's even better is the custom job he is doing for me. I told him I wanted it loud. From what I understand, the exhaust system is not real loud but sounds like a G35 on steriods. As I said, I told him I wanted it to be real loud so he recommended to remove the muffler at the x-pipe. So now only 2 mufflers which are at the tip, kinda like the Apexi N1 that I previously owned. I'm sure there will be drone and etc, but I'm really curious what it will sound like. Tony says no one has it like this and it will definitly be loud and different. Anyone have an idea what the sound might relate to?

I am getting it installed by Chris at Elite Import Auto Service in Laurel MD and I will take pictures and get sound clips.

 

I thought the muffer and x-pipe were integrated - he is going to fabricate an x-pipe only for you? Very curious how it turns out...

I give you credit & props for purchasing something you haven't even heard (custom FI exhaust). I'm also interested in the results.

As for me, I think the FI exhaust is perfect. Not too loud, but definately louder than stock. With some headers & cats, the stock FI exahust should sound pretty loud...

HFC's/Test pipes also would have made they FI exhaust louder...could have just gone that route.

 

I pick up my Ti Tip FI Exhaust tomorrow....DOMO Gonna wait to get some other mods done, and all the bank account to fill back up. After that, if I want to go louder, I'm just gonna run HFCs and possibly headers.

FYI, Rick (ISMSOLUTIONS) ran headers, FI Ceramic HFCs, and the FI exhaust......I believe he said he was at 103 dB, which isn't too quiet... Feel free to chime in, Rick!

 

I've owned many aftermarket exhausts and trust me you don't want it too loud - gets annoying real fast. I had the loudest exhaust setup in the universe and quiet is a good thing.

 

Yeah...all I did was tell Tony I want it louder and he said he will do it custom like this for the first time...He is very curious how its going to turn out too... says if this comes out well, he may make it an option for sale....

i already have strup test pipes. I had it with Apexi and it was loud as hell. I've owned loud and I want it louder...so hopefully this will do. Plus Tony said just the x pipes make it lighter so the exhaust will have more strength... As I said, it will be very interesting.............I think he is shipping it out tommorrow....

Better tell Tony to get building you a new center section to swap out...it's gonna be gangsta loud mang!!!

Enjoy the drone...cause from the inside of the car, that's all you'll hear. It'll sound pretty exotic though...and REAL loud...

i will post sound clips asap after install. Yeah, probably a lot of drone....but its my toy and I want to sound different....with the performance to back it up.....hopefully this will complete my intake and exhaust system...

 

I just recieved mine this past thursday and plan to get it installed on Tuesday.

Time to start looking into some metallic HFCs....after I get an intake.

 

Mine got shipped out today.... Tony kept his word and sent it on the day he called...good way to do business....

get test pipes (I have strup and they work well and affordable)... they make any exhaust sound 10 times better.... now that i have intake, plenum, test pipes, and exhaust, whats next? I'm wanting more power but waiting on FI till I do everything else.....
