Need the growl....

I'm not looking to make my G faster but I love that growl. I've been looking through a couple of threads and can't seem to decide on a good intake for sound. I really don't want cheap...was sort of looking for a used one if possible. I was looking at the JWT Pop Charger Z-Tube combo but was wanting spend a little under $200 with shipping. Is there another option for what I want to achieve?

I would get Injen Cai i personally think its the best sounding intake period. Check eBay from time to time i see them sometimes for a relativly good prices.

I have the stillen CAB and i love it. I think its the most efficient as well. It has the most heat shielding thus lower intake temps. Not that you really gain all that much from it but me likey. I also have FI HFC's which also add to the purr

all 3 options are great...

injen cai - best traditional cai
stillen - stock looking with good gains
jwt with ztube - best bang for your buck

if you just wanna spend $200 go with pop charger... FI HFC's will add a very nice growl to the exhaust

Nevermind...just did some searching and I don't want to change the stock exhaust. I suppose I can go with the JWT combo. Anyone have one they want to sell?

I don't see intakes adding more "growl" to your car's sound. Sure it will sound better, but its far from a "growl".

I suggest you get a Stillen. They will all give you about the same sound. I would also recommend you stay away from CAI (some searching would answer why). The JWT is great, but its heat-shield is almost laughable.

If you really want more growl, look into HFC/TP and/or & exhaust.

why not? it will keep the stock sound just deeper and a little louder... your not looking for that type of "Growl"
