got my hks 2day

so i got my hks exhaust today and put them on. wow!!!!!!!!!!! i love them but for the money i was expecting better welding and when i was putting the exhaust on i notice that the pipes were hitting a bolt about 3 inches in front of the rear sways. so i put some rubber so it wouldent knock. but we all know what happens with rubber metal and alot of heat. anybody had this problem???????? but HKS SHAWEEET

Congratulations on the new HKS. Had mine installed by a shop and didn't notice any knocking. Take care of those titanium tips if your coupe is lowered, especially when exiting parking lots with a dip. Exited the mall too fast and now the bottom of my tips have a flat spot

I'll admit the welds aren't what you would expect for the price you pay, but everything else is oh so sweet.

i have the HKS also. LOVE it.. I had no problems with the install. Perfect fit to the factory bolts and harness.

How long was the wait to get the HKS exhaust, I have heard of people waiting over a month to get it?????

There are plenty of vendors with it in stock ready to ship.

well iv waited 2 years 2 finaly order mine and then i just went to thermalmotors and 2day air shipping 2 hawaii for 65 bucks boo yahhh came in less than a week

Oh man, didn't realize you're in Hawaii too. In that case, the parking lot I was referring to is the Ward Theaters parking lot, go slow when you leave the place. You probably got a much better deal than me, got mine from Evolutions, knew I got ripped off but what the heck. You should come out to our cruise on the 20th with your new HKS!

Yeah, the welds definitely suck for the price of the exhaust...but as long as no one sees them and the exhaust doesn't leak = fine with me.

You can get a shop to shave that bolt down abit, it helps...no more clanking. about 30 bucks.
