Just had it installed today~~~~

kinda disappointed......not as loud as what I was expecting.

it feel like the stock one is actually louder than the G200

are there anyways other than remove the cat to make it louder??

I just noticed that there are 2 different version of G200

why is that??
the one I have is the same as the one on second pix. I noticed that the pipes are different, is that why my G200 is not as loud compare to those sound clip I saw in youtube??

 

is there modification needed if i installed with HFC onto G200??

 

HFC's don't make a big change in exhaust tone...

 

i had the version1 it was kinda loud, but i think version2 isnt that loud b/c of the resonators it has on them, heres the one i used to have with hfc on it

so do you suggest that I should cut out the resonator??
or maybe I should just order the pipes from Invidia instead??

 

g200 has a nice tone to it...louder than stock....at idle...louder at WOT

 

I think I'll just try to order the pipes without the resonator from Invidia and start from there, I guess it will be better way than cut the one I have right now.

its weird to see everyone say G200 is louder than stock~~

maybe its the problem with my ear

 

My G200 has a nice tone at idle, and bellows like an exotic at WOT.

where do you get this exhaust and how much does it cost?

 

I bought those used from Taiwan~~~~(but they looks like new) and brought them back on the plane with me!!

the person that is selling have hard time selling those in Taiwan since there aren't that many G35s out there especially coupes.

I get it for very cheap~~~ NT$8000 approx US$250

I will have the resonator cut off tmmr. hopefully it will help~~

 

Wow, that is certainly cheap. You got a great deal. My Invidia has no resonators. My understanding is that the early ones, 3 years ago, came with them, and they were too soft, so the later ones abandoned them. Do the current ones now have resonators again? BTW, I've added an "H" Pipe to mine to even out the exhaust pulses at idle.
