No worries man. like i said in the first post, the Tanabe exhaust markets themselves for being quiet, although I haven't seen one person

run that exhaust. How quiet do you need it? Pretty much any exhaust is going to be louder than stock, but you can run stock cats

to keep the noise to a minimum.

where do you live? you should ask the locals if cops are strict about exhausts.

oh and the Medallion touring is the only exhaust tanabe offers for the G35, but give em a call to make sure.

check out the nismo and fuji exhausts, they are both pretty close to stock in terms of loudness

i live in Socal. some of my homies have gotten tickets for exhaust before. most of them have been fix it tickets but that is still a hassle. i've never heard of fuji. i'm familiar with nismo and tanabe. i think imma have to check out tanabe because its way cheaper than the nismo. thanks for the feedback guys.

This should give you an idea of the exhaust tones of different companies. . .

IMO, the impul one gives the best sound. . .pretty close to stock but a bit more aggressive. . .

Fuji is a nice combo of quiet and loud.

At cruise its quiet. At WOT high RPM, its loud.
