Intake & Exhaust Questions and info regarding various aftermatket exhaust systems for the G35 (Headers,Y-Pipes, and Cat-Back Systems)

cold air intake problem...someone help please

cold air intake problem...someone help please

can someone please help me figure out what is wrong with my cai? i just installed it on my 03 g35. i did everything properly, but when i start up my car, it idles up and then shuts off. every hose is connected, and the sensor is faced in the right direction. does anyone know what i can do to fix this problem????

Had the same problem with a plenum spacer, put it back to stock and if you have the same problem like i did you messed up the cars idle. Its idling low and thats what causes your car to turn off i had to put all my stock parts back on, take it to the dealer for them to fix, took about 10 min and rep came back saying it was all fixed and that the cars idle got messed up somehow ( i didnt tell him how )

i just figured it out, i had the sensor facing the wrong way,..im an idiot,..thanks so much for all the help.

^^^ Glad to hear you figured it out. Hopefully you won't have any more stalling problems, but after having my Stillen CAI and Z-tube installed my coupe would stall if I ever put it into neutral above 50-60 mph. I've heard this problem goes away as the ECU adapts to the mods, but there's no reason to put your car in neutral at that speed anyway, so I don't aim to find out.

Yeah my car always does this after mods. Its just like what blue devil said. The Ecu get use to the new mod.
