+1, I would like to know. Is Osiris compatible with the TS reflash?

I forgot to mention I've been getting much crappier gas mileage with the cos installed (14 city, 16 highway).

Overwrites it... I cringed when I did it ($600 of TS tune wiped right out)... but it does offer a few benefits other than TS - in this case cam timing might help?....

I still have my stock ecu So I could take out the TS flashed ecu, install the stock ecu--do the key thingy--and then get the Osiris flash on the one ecu, and the Tsquare flash on the other!

Well that's seriously disappointing. The Cosworth intake makes less power except for the very tail end where it means basically nothing. Looking at those plots tells me the car is now a bit slower. Worse MPGs too. I guess this is proof that Nissan's ugly VQ35DE intake manifold really is a work of art.

Jon just pm'd me about his current dilemna. Beyond that conversation, let me just say that it is too early to judge the Cosworth plenum.

Judging by the change in the shape of the curve it is clearly designed for more high end power (probably a slightly shorter runner with more volume, I'll have to read the thread), but that doesn't mean it has to be down in power down low. While every engine is different, our experience with other types of engines (Honda K-series for one) tells us that changing intake manifolds can require substantial changes to required cam angles on the VVT.

The change in fuel economy is particularly interesting because there really shouldn't be a major change here unless the operating dynamics are vastly different (which would support the need for customized cam tuning).

Those are pretty low numbers with the cosworth, when I was NA I had all bolt ons, a kinetix plenum and i came out with 254whp 247tq without a tune with osiris or anything, just did a dyno-run to see my numbers for fun. I'm now SC'ed and tuned by Church But anyways, plenums looking great tho! Much props and I would get one too myself but I'm switching to mrev.

I'm glad you chimed in Shawn, because this is precisely what I've been saying (in PMs with Jon & in a couple of posts)... I'm no tuner, but I figured until this is tuned with the new setup no definitive’s can be concluded... and the cam timing of Osiris is a good option that his current tune doesn’t have.

So you have to remove the CF sides to bolt the sucker down?

Any noise diff between plenum/spacer combinations?

^^Seriously it feels like the car is running like crap right now. MPG really suks now: 12 mpg city, 14 highway!!!. I'm hoping Osiris and Shawn can optimize everything. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to get a stand-alone like the Haltech or the Fcon vpro

I know it’s a bit of a drive, but Phoenix is having a dyno tune day with Shawn in the coming weeks… saves about 800 miles (round trip) from going to his shop in So Cal…

With the amount of money you’ve spent on the car, it might be worth considering… and to have one of the best tuners, that knows Osiris very well, tuner your car – there really isn’t a better opportunity to see if real gains can be had with that plenum.

DO IT!!!!!
