x02 thoughts on N/A 05 coupe?

what do you guys think about getting an x02? anyone have a lot of problems with it? I don't want people flamin me since I don't want to save up for the real HKS unless the x02 is completely horrible, so if anyone has some advice lmk

do yourself a favor and get the real deal, you can find a decently priced one used. there is one for sale currently in the classified section

Get an HKS or something else. It sounds good, but its no where near the quality & craftmanship of the other known brands.

well first off, i live in the bay area in cali and it hasn't snowed in decades, so I doubt our city will be throwing down so much salt and such to rust my exhaust. but I want an exhaust in the price range around 500+/-. I found some borla and Greddy sp2 online for a good price, are these any good? are true dual not good for n/a cars?

the rust is not the only issue with the xo2, there are fitment issues, the tips don't look very good, and you have to drill into the tips just to get it sit at the right place. there are plenty of threads on it so you may want to read up.

With any TD, our cars will lose some low end power due to decrease in backpressure. There is some gain in the top end to make up for it but the loss on the low end is definitely noticeable in everyday driving.
