Calling all Fujitsubo exhaust owners. Please share with us how you feel about your exhaust and if you've installed any other breathing mods and how they've impacted the sound.

i know first hand that transmission can effect sound. i had the fast intentions exhaust and it had a really bad drone from about 1500-3000 rpm.

The Fuji with HFC's and Y-pipe sounds really good. I just recently had to put my OEM Y-pipe back on, and it lowered the sound output considerably. HFC's of course made it a bit louder. Still sounds very exotic and not raspy.

Did have some cracking issues though with the whole setup. Berk HFC's cracked at one of the welds, which I had MIG welded back up. The Y-pipe was causing a lot of binding in the system and the y-pipe cracked as well in two spots. Installing the OEM Y-pipe back on fixed things...everything fit together a lot better, and it wasn't so tight.

^^ umm by fujisubo exhaust you mean ... all ppl w/ an 05+ G coupe?... cus all 05+'s basically have a Legalis-R exhaust on em... which warrants the 11HP boost (from 03 - 05 : 287 - 298).

But infi basically upped the exhaust for the 05's to a fuji... well its not EXACTLY a legalis... but its gonna sound a lot like it

Got the fuji with a JIC y-pipe, stock cats, MREV-2, and 5/16 spacer. Sounds like stock at lower rpm, just a bit more exotic. At high rpm, the exhaust wails. Sounds mean. Very slight drone ~2-3K rpm.
