Kinetix Plenum installed with photos

I have finally installed the plenum... I haven't really got a chance to test out the performance yet...

But the install was pretty straight forward, and it went very smooth.... no idle problem what so ever... the idle is constantly at 700 rpm

Nice install PBB, sounds like it went well and no leaks. cool.
Your Grounding wires seem ok from here, but I'll check next Sunday at the meet.

Re: Kinetix Plenum installed with photos

Is it actually proven to do anything or is it all cosmetic?

Re: Kinetix Plenum installed with photos

There is some oil there... kinda of dirty....

As for the without dip, I really can't answer that.... best thing is to ask Kinetix Racing....

Once my ECU is readjust, I will be dynoing my car... lets hope my HP is up there where it should be...

Re: Kinetix Plenum installed with photos

What are your impressions of this upgrade? Can you feel
a HP increase in your butt-o-meter? Torque increase?
It looks nicer than the Crawford plenum.

Re: Kinetix Plenum installed with photos

What is it? is it just a new intake manifold? or a new half a manifold? does it sound any differnet?
definately looks cool, but if it doesnt do anything is it worth it?
oh, and what does plenum mean?

Re: Kinetix Plenum installed with photos

It makes proven h.p. gains, and is similar to the crawford intake plenum. It isn't just for looks. No one would spend $300 to remove the already fine lookin engine cover and expose the relatively messy looking engine compartment.
