Question on Fast Intention Exhaust - Wierd clamp?

Hi All,

Just got my Fast Intention exhaust and unwrapped it. Does everyone have a wierd clamp around a piece of the driver's side exhaust flange? It looks like the pipe wasn't long enough so the flange sticks out a bit and a clamp was put around it. Just wondering if this thing serves a purpose.

And yes, the wife loves the fact that this thing is in the kitchen...

Thanks all,

It's so you can adjust the driver's side tip to be even the passenger's side if necessary. I had to adjust mine a bit to get them perfectly even. Just loosen the clamp, adjust accordingly, and tighten.

EDIT: You're going to love it, I couldn't be happier with mine!

Thanks man - I figured it served a purpose - just wanted to make sure. I am starting to put it on this weekend. Everyone is raving about this system so I can't see how I'm going to be disappointed.
