Read the instructions and decide if you can handle it yourself or not. Many have diy and many pay to have it installed. Having to take off the lower manifold makes it harder but not much harder.

1) For a moderate to experienced mechanic type = diy

2) For a noobie to beginner = farm it out or have an experienced person assist so you might learn.

All depends on where you lie. You 1 or 2?

In the end, it doesn't help you if some experienced mechanic says "it's easy as pie" when you might not even turned a wrench yet.

2, as i am not an experienced mechanic but can diy on anything with instuctions and the right tools im fairly sure. I hang with evo and srt4 owners that do engine swaps at home ive just never had to do any engine work with them bc im going from a dropped chevy blazer to a work of art and driving machine. i work 55 hours a week and am just trying to decide whether it was worth the diy install and getting my freinds to take the time to help me with it or get it prof installed

Check out my stickie above "Group Install of Iso-Thermal gasket" This install would be about what would be required. If you would not be confy doing something like this, pay for someone else to do it...

I got them used. And yes, it's probably one of the top cost/benefit mods I've done so far.

most of the time marketplace is going to be the cheapest place.
