Megan Headers??

I was thinkng about getting a set of headers for my G, but i was wondering which ones I should get.

I was looking at Megan Headers:

http://www.meganracing.com/products/...d=347&catid=67

They are kinda cheap, which kind of scares me.

But has anyone ever used/heard about these?

If these arent good which ones would you recommend?

Thanks for the help!!!

I have a couple MR products on my car and have been impressed with the quality. It begs a question. Most of their stuff appears to be top-notch and yet, is less expensive than most other items of the same purpose. Their coil-overs for example: they replace the rear spring completely, have pillow-ball mounts, 32 levels of dampening adjustment, etc, etc. They sell for $1100 for a full set.

Why?

I hear the Borla and Stillen headers are well made. More expensive though. Are the welds really that much better on the same type stainless steel?

Rule of thumb is to be weary about megan products. Their exhausts and HFc's tend to crack. I would say the same about the headers. I would suggest going another route.

I have Megan headers and they have held up great. Gotta love all of the "haters" even if they have never owned Megan products. Almost every name has had their share of problems.

I say buy them and go for it.

I actually wouldn't know. If I were to go for headers I would do something extreme like get genuine Nismo or Toda ones. However, I'm planning on going FI, so I haven't really done any research on them.

Some people actually do research before they buy. there are a number of threads on driver and 350z that show megan products breaking. However, their breaks and coilovers are supposed to be pretty decent. My comment was limited to megan's exhaust products

I do research on everything I buy, I have extreme buyers remorse. There were enough people that have had 0 problems with Megan.

I really think that they had a bad batch at the beginning and now everyone is weary of them. I haven't seen a thread saying "My megan headers broke, go F Megan in the A". That may be because everyone is staying away but I didn't and I'm glad I didn't spend $750 for something I wasn't going to keep after I go FI.

Man Fvck megan headers, don't be cheap, save up more money and get real headers, I went cheap then later on I had to put out more money to get new headers, better brands actually better quality, design, and some actually give more hp! I wish i would of known in the first place The only persons that would like Megan Racing products are the people that had already bought them, besides that screw megan! haha, unless you have a honda or something

Their coilovers are actually made by BC Racing.
