I bought a 350Z 5'16" spacer w/ Iso Thermal from a local guy new. I just installed the spacer but when I got to the iso thermal gasket, it doesn't fit. Are the G35 and 350z's gaskets different? I could have modified the gasket a little, redrilling new holes for the top and bottom screws to make it fit. The gasket holes fit fine along with the 6 internal screws. I didn't know if that would be safe. Just asking before I install it.

They are identical and should fit perfectly.

Are you sure you had the correct orientation?
