Installing an Intake

Does the New intake require the use of the O2 sensor?

if you mean the mass air flow sensor (MAF), then yes, i'm fairly sure every intake requires an O2 sensor and most likely uses the stock one.

unless you have an intake for FI... (i have no idea about that situation)

if you want an answer to a question, you must be more specific. what kind of intake are you talking about? also, O2 sensors pertain to exhaust gas, not the intake.

All intakes (OEM, Short Ram, Cold Air) require use the OEM MAF sensor. Your car wouldn't run right without it.
