So i was returning my car back to oem spec, i picked up a 350z muffler and mid pipe. ( Yes i know the tips were going to be shorter ) and g35 y-pipe

I also picked up the extention piece for the mid pipe due to the 350z exhaust being shorter.

MY question is, i see everybody saying that extention is for the Nismo exhaust, which is an aftermarket exhaust, not oem.

For the life of me i could not get the extentions to fit properly, and now i have a huge exhaust leak to take of.

Are the extentions only for the aftermarket nismo exhaust, or have people had sucess installed in on an oem exhaust with a 350z midpipe?
