HFC's / headers - sound vs power vs cost ?????
basically I want a little louder sound from my stock exhaust, so for the right sound and to pick up some more power I want to keep the stock y pipe and cat back and get either headers or HFC's or maybe both eventually ?
I want more power but not at the cost of being too loud, so which would be better HFC's or headers ? and how much do they cost ?
what I'm thinking and want to confirm .....
HFC's + stock exhaust = perfect loudness smaller power gains and less expensive
Headers + stock exhaust = probably too loud but more power gains and more expensive
HFC's + Headers + stock exhaust = definitely too loud biggest power gain and most expensive
I like this sound but wonder if it's too loud under normal cruising and driving and if headers might be a better option for what I want
