Question Exhaust...

Yep, did a search... Borla, HKS, Nismo... I'd like more feedback though. I've done two mods - a new CAI by Stillen, and a 5/16" plenum spacer by Motordyne.

I'd like some new exhaust though, should I start with headers and go all the way through with new cats and a true-dual exhaust system? Is it ever advisable to get used exhaust parts??

Any info's appreciated,

Happy Mother's Day!

Mahalo and much love for the 808 bro, I heard those HKS pipes rock... I was stoked on how much of a "boost" I got from my Motordyne...

best exhaust for price...??

g'mornin second post ever (new register).
(this is actually a copy/paste from another forum), but a time sensitive topic:

I'm lookin at giving my G a little performance and was hoping I could get some input as to what brands to go with for Exhaust and In-take.
I got an 07 G35S sedan and naturally, Stillen came up when I asked around.
After viewing several forums, I have learned that FI (Fast Intentions) might be a better bet, then reading a few more, a few other names came up. I am looking for a nice growl but more importantly, at the "best bang for buck" range. Of course, since I initially was going to get the Stillen Gen 2 exhaust and long tube in-take this w/e at their customer appr. day w/ free install in Costa Mesa, CA, my pockets aren't that conservative. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Danny.

PS: moved from the 808 to 818, chee pa! kaneohe, brah.

headers are a pain to install and really no need for them... yes you can buy used exhaust parts...

Next Mod....exhaust!

You've made some very good choices with your first two mods. Don't bother
with the Borla system, quality and sound isn't there. HKS will give you both
quality and the sound you're looking for....but so will Stillens dual system.
Try looking in our Marketplace for a used system located in your area....G/L!

HKS, Fast Intentions, Stillen, Fujitsubo - look into those.

Yep, did a search
Looks like that's the first thing people say to avoid a flaming

My advice is search harder. Because there's a ton of feedback on these exhausts.

Goodluck!

If you searched exhaust and Fast Intentions wasn't on your list, then you didn't search
