Trouble shooting code P0430 on my G35
What’s up guys, well I have a little problem here and I was wondering if anybody else had this issue with their G35? Well a few days ago I have installed the Ztube / K&N air filter from Stillen and I have also changed the spark plugs on it as well and the car was fine, running smooth and problems what so ever, but then a day later my check engine light came on and I scanned the car and it came back with the code P0430. I searched the web and found out that the code P0430 calls for “TW Catalyst System, Bank 2” which I’m not sure what that means I’m guessing the Oxygen Sensor is bad, I’m just wondering what could have caused that to come on, the light never came on before I changed the spark plugs and the air filter…. Did anyone else run into this problem and if you have what have you done about it….
UPDATE>>> Code P0430 (TW Catalyst System, Bank 2) it’s not an oxygen sensor it is the CATALYTIC CONVERTER!!! Infiniti gives an 8/80000 warranty on the emissions! If you didn’t run over 80,000 miles the dealer should fix it under the warranty! If not and u got that code then start digging in your wallet you’re looking at a ($1000 to fix one catalytic converter) if u need to fix this... I hope this will help you guys…
