It sucks because I can't justify spending like 1200 bucks on a noise (and a small power gain). The only other exhausts I wanted was either FI or Stillen, and I have the money no problem, just don't wanna spend it on this

^^ Don't.. you can even get a custom exhaust made for less.

1000+ for exhaust is complete nonsense.

Custom makes me nervous, I've heard 2 customs on the G and 1 on a 350z, and to be honest, they all sounded terrible. I mention the stillen and FI for the reason of sound. I prefer more of a deep grumble to the um...how should I say this..."exotic" sound of an HKS for example.

Which is why I was interested, but due to the fitment issues, I can't see myself being happy.

is there anyway to extend the tips as far as an hks exhaust would look like? very interested in purchasing this exhaust but from the pictures it looks way too close to the bumper

i'm not very good with modifying parts.. but I think you could get an exhaust shop to make it extend more.. as it comes stock it doesn't really have tips on it.. they are only about 2-3 inches long coming from the muffler. I think some topspeed titanium tips would extend it another inch or two, making it look better.

They told me today they never experienced the problem of it being tucked under before.

me too! so idk do you guys think I installed it wrong?? it seems like the one they shipped me was really hard to install.. The extension had absolutely no slack in it, once it was installed, the midpipe seemed to be like 3 inches too high for the tips, so I had to install the tips first, then the extension. I'm wondering if maybe they made mine wrong . The silencers are so hard to get out though.

I see a few people in this thread and others mention that they have the exhaust, yet no one has commented on the fitments?
