So I have a chance to get my hands on a g35 coupe version of the bassani exhaust for a reaaaaaally good deal. I love the sound on the Z's, and barely see any info here about them at all. Does anyone know of a member who has one?

Nah, I get the bottomspeed exhaust instead.

 

There was some talk about it a while back, but no one ended up getting one that I am aware of...

I say go for it... it sounds great on the z and they seem to have positive comments about it...

 

If you'd hurry up and get the tips maybe I'd consider the topspeed, but well, your slackin. Ha.

And I really love the sound of the bassani on the Z, which i assume is pretty damn close to what it'd sound like for us, however I'm just more concerned about fitment then anything else...

+1 on going for it. The clips I've heard on Z's sound really, really good. Fitment shouldn't be too much of a problem if you have a good shop to tweak things that may need tweaking.

 

I don't have a good shop. I have 2 places by me that the owners are family friends, but they don't do exhaust work, although could easily do the install. I always hate going to places like meineke(sp) and stuff to

 

The Bassani sounds really good. if you go on their website they make a G35 version with extended mid-pipes and extended tips.

 

Yeah I know that, however the top speed has the same thing, and is still tucked and isn't an easy fit...
