You still don't get it do you? I was never trying to be a dick to you, I'm just trying to get you to understand that mine sounds MUCH different than yours! I don't care how ****ty your camera is, my camera is ****ty as **** too. Its 4 years old, am I complaining? No.

Facts: my idle is much more deeper than yours. I do not have nearly as much rasp as you. I have no sound other than a slight tone under regular non WOT driving.

Trust me, I KNOW. I have tons of people here in vegas who KNOW what a HKS with test pipes sounds like, I know 3 cars here with that setup. They all hate them, except they all love mine. Now, stop being ignorant and just admit they sound different!! Whats the big deal?

 

If I were you, I'd have to take my losses and put it back to stock, that sound is not a $37-42k car sound. That's like a Ford Tempo with a hole in the muffler and a kitten trying to claw itself out of the trunk. To each his own tho

yeah, but the tone isn't that dramatically different. Something is definitely wrong with the OP's exhaust. It sounds hella off. The HKS even with un-resonated test pipes isn't really raspy because the HKS exhaust already has separate resonators on it.

 

+100000. I've known a couple of guys with the tp and HKS and none sound like the OP's. Something is off for sure.

 

two of the guys that I run with have the X02 exhaust. I know what it sounds like and it sounds nothing like the HKS exhaust, just like the OP's.

 

I video sounds ****ty, but in person its not that bad

 

No i definitely have an HKS, it has a huge H-pipe with no extensions and titanium tips. Like i said, the camera i was using has really bad sound quality and the exhaust sounds alot different in person.
