Fujitsubo Legalis-R W/ Y Pipe or Tanabe Medalion Touring W/ Y Pipe?
Wanna keep it as stock as possible and am not looking into going true-dual... Listened to both and loved both, both are lighter... pros/cons to either??
I love my Fujitsubo. Sounds stock at idle but opens up nicely when under load. The tips are pretty big though so it will definitely no longer look stock. That could be a pro or con for you. I was a little unsure when I first unwrapped it but I grew to love them pretty quick.
Fijitsubo vs. Tanabe
Hey,
What did you end up getting? I have the same requirements as you (except for a sedan)... where I'd like to keep my car looking as stock as possible. I found some sound/video clips on YouTube of the two exhausts. Pretty terrible sound quality... but still gave me some idea of what to expect.
I ended up ordering the Tanabe Medalion Touring cat back exhaust. I think it'll be quiet at idle and low rpm but open up nicely. I hope I can have it installed by next week.
Brian.

What's up Brian, good choice... Between the two I don't think we could go wrong from all the positive things I've heard about Tanabe and Fujitsubo.
I bought the Fujitsubo Legalis-R, and the Fujitsubo Y-pipe. I'm still waiting for the Y-pipe to arrive, but I've talked to several (10+) people who've had either the Tanabe Medalion or the Fujitsubo Legalis-R, and they've said both sound AWESOME when you open up the throttle, however at idle/low rpms it's as quiet as stock with a nice, deep tone.
Let me know if you're happy with your's after the install, I'll do the same after I get my Y-pipe and get it on...

Meatshackle,
Aloha good brother! How's Oahu?? I was just on Kaua'i, and need to fly back to your island's... Have you ever been to Ni'ihau?
I'm glad you like your Fuji, is it a 'quality' exhaust like people claim? I've heard of cracks in the Y-pipe!?!? Is that just with FI?
To date, you're happy with the Fujitsubo I'm assuming, any complaints though?

Which Tanabe exhaust was it? I've heard they all sound different due to piping, and the metal used etc.
