HEY!! If there is anyone on this board that has a Crawford plenum and hasn't returned their core, please kindly get off your duff and send your core to Doug.

He called me today (and no, I am not an offender) trying to scrounge up plenums that have been promised, but not delivered. If this keeps up, expect Doug to stop trusting people and charging the $200 core up front!

I'm sure it's not anyone from this forum, probably those other forums [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img] Spread the word!!!

I was compelled to do the same kind of post when I ordered my Crawford a while back. I put my oem pleneum where my mouth was and ups'd it back the very next day after the new pleneum was delivered. I didn't want anyone else's order delayed on my account.

He really should charge the core up-front and refund it on receipt. That's what auto parts stores do for things like alternators. It would definately speed up the core returns.

 

Doug is a nice guy. He trust us so we should return that trust by returning the original plenum on time. I got mine installed alst week and returned the original 4 days later.. :-)

Maybe if everyone would return their core back in a prompt manner some of us (including myself) wouldn't have to wait 2-3 weeks for one. I spoke to Doug today and they are running about 2wks. out on current orders. Doug is a VERY trusting business man!!

Im waiting to install my vortech until I get my plenum so I can tune everything at once. This is the longest 2 weeks of my life.

 

marcg... whine, whine, whine...[img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] I really believe that since SO MANY people are praising the Crawford Plenum, Doug's orders have gone from a 3-5 plenum backlog, to over a 22 plenum back log. This plenum is the real deal, I promise and it is definitely worth the wait.

And for those that think I'm being tough on marc, we're actually "neighbors" in a sense. We are doing a group pulley install this coming Friday morning, along with some 1/4 mile runs at the track Friday night, so I'm allowed to give him a hard time. It just comes with the territory...

Also, is it safe to use the Crawford plenum with FI? Isn't anyone worried about the added boost and the modified plenum? I saw a post previously where a 350Z owner was running Nitrous at a track and blew an engine (crawford plenum included). Someone should remember the post.

Doug called me also...asking if I sent it back....Ive sent both mine back the very next day.Wont blame him if he starts charging up front for the core .When your in business....you can be nice , only for so long

I may have to eventually line the sedan up next to Neffster at Bitlo so we can hear him whine too :-)
