Coupe midpipe from 07

I'm wanting to get a coupe midpipe for my 06 sedan. I know there is little difference except for tone, which is fine for me. If I purchase an 07 coupe's midpipe, is it the same as the 06 and previous? The reason why I ask, and please excuse my n00bness, but the 07 and 08 sedans sound much different than the 06 and previous models. I havent heard the 07 or 08 coupes and I don't know if it is the midpipe that makes it sound different (or part of it), and I'd like to know if the 06's and previous sound any different than the 07's..and if I'll have any issues with fitting the 07 coupe midpipe on my 06 sedan.

The 07 coupes are still 1st gen so the midpipe will fit and sound the same as previous models. The 07+ sedans and 08+ coupes are true dual from the factory so the midpipes will not fit. It would be nice if there was a way to retrofit newer exhausts on older sedans though.

Thanks for the info. It indeed would be quite nice. True dual exhaust looks super nice on the new ones, I'm surprised they didn't do them on the 1st gen or include it in the sports package.
