Lightbulb Exhaust for the g?

hey guys, new to the forums, but not as much so to the nissan/infiniti world.
im most likely going to pick up an '04 g35 this weekend, and im prolly gonna throw a few parts on it as soon as i get it, my first being a new exhuast.

Basically what exhausts have you guys put on, and which ones do you recommend.
Pics/Clips appreciated.

thanks in advance

To help you out, we need to know what you are expecting from an exhaust and expected future mods.

You should try doing your own research. Search the forums...there's a ton of information out here.

I can guarantee you it will be alot more helpful than this thread.

I think i am going with the HKS hi-tech or whatever they call it.
Basically im just getting the g as my DD, working on my '03 cobra as a project car, so obviously im not going to waste time trying to make the G fast. But i really can't stand to drive anything stock, so mods would be
-next week or so: exhaust, intake, look good stuff
-when i get bored(maybe a month or 2): a slight cam, headers, better brakes(wilwoods or baers), better suspension, nothing major

so i dont really need an exhaust as im not adding any noticeable power adders, but just something so the car sounds a little more respectable(even though the stock exhaust note is great for a 3.5L).

If you don't mind a loud as hell borderline ricer sound, then HKS is for you. I, personally, don't like it.

HKS isnt loud and isnt rice. If you want loud and rice get injen with unresonated pipes. Thats rice/loud.

Go with HKS. It's a fantastic exhaust and i love mine. HKS and Amuse are the only 2 exhausts i would ever put on my car.

Different folks, different strokes. It's too loud for my tastes and doesn't maintain the stock exhaust note which I love.

Don't put test pipes on your HKS or it'll sound terrible.

Since you are going for sound, go to the 350z forum and they have sound clips of a lot exhausts.
