by shop do you mean standard muffler shop or car tuning shop that has highly skilled welders and a rep to maintain?

Try to go with mandrel bent tubing, figure out what style you want (true-dual or stockish design), select good mufflers/resonators/tips, and make sure they mock it up while under the car and dont just retrace the stock unit.

Summitracing.com has great prices on most of the stuff good luck!

I was quote $1500 for a custom exhaust by a local tuning company and they said they would prefer to do all the design and part selection (magnaflow).

Well its a regular muffler shop that actually tunes most of the racing cars where i live.He was going to test pipe my cats the resonated ones.Glass pack som of my tubing to get a deeper sound because i have a high flow magna flow muffler now.And just change some piping to bigger flowing ones. What do you think? o and do you guys think i should go true dual or the cat back with the high flow muffler.
