what benefit is the '05 muffler? i'd slap on an HKS rear section if i was you. no bracket necessary for our '04s.

hmmm did i say I was getting an hks??? nope.....no tryin to be rude here man but I asked for a certain question as there are other companies out there that made exhuast other then for 03-04 sedans...the muffler I have is setup for 05-06s....sorry if i came off rude but Im tryin to stay on topic.....

On the other note I can get the bracket welded but then it losed the coating it has in that area when it gets welded .

What are you looking for by putting an 05/06 muffler on an 03 sedan? If you are looking to make your exhaust quieter, you are on the right track since the 05/06 muffler is larger than the 03/04. If you are looking for more noise you need to get a coupe mid pipe with your stock muffler.

In answer to your original question, I don't see where you would need to do anything other than to get the bracket. PM Tony or Rick@riversideinfiniti and get a quote for the part number from one of them. They usually have really good deals.

Check here for a sound clip of an 03/04 muffler with both a coupe and an 05/06 sedan mid pipe.
