ok i already got the ingen intake and i love the way it sounds.

im looking for some exhausts right now and everybody keeps talking about the fast intentions and the hks.

which one will give you more power?!?!?! and is it worth the money

 

both the fast intentions and hks exhaust systems are great. you can't go wrong with either.

 

I'm currently running a HKS exhaust cat-back system and love it! Since this is my 4th exhaust system I'm ALMOST an expert....LOL If you take the time
to listen to sound clips I feel the HKS sounds better than all others. Since you're going to make these mods make sure whatever you buy that you are
issued E.O. numbers. That way the cops won't write you a ticket for installing illegal mods! Here in Ca. that's become a every day occurance....Ouch! Look into Stillens CAI, it's not hampered by heat soak like
other metal intakes!

Which one will give you more power? For NA, the difference between most exhaust are very small.

Choose the exhaust based on your personal preference. The Fast Intentions exhaust looks and sounds very different from the HKS. So once you hear & see them both, it should be pretty clear which one you prefer.

are the $1K+ Exhaust worth it? i say yes some say No because you dont get much of a power gain from them

and for the hks a catback??

i thought catback blew and you dont get that much power

Not sure what you're trying to ask...

Both the HKS & Fast Intentions are True-Dual Cat-Back exhaust. The Fast Intentions has 2.5 inch piping, whereas the HKS has 2.25 inch piping.

I suggest you do alot more research before making these decisions. You seem to be rushing it. The last thing you want to do is make a 1,000+ dollar purchase on something you know little about.

yea... where should i install it though? like is there some where that just does G35s or fast intentions?!?!?!

chips don't do much for our cars.. they come tuned pretty well out of the factory, so unless you are going to get a turbo or supercharger, a tuneable ECU won't be worth it. just take it to a reputable exhaust shop to install it.. it's not like they actually have to know your car, they just lift i up unbolt it take it off the hangers, and stick the new one on.

 

I thought the stock exhaust is very well designed except for the cats. Have you thought just upgrading to HFCs?

I love the way the stock coupe exhaust sounds, but thats just my suggestion/opinion.

 

Sorry elayman you're incorrect about the ECU, i had a UTEC on my car that i got my ECU tuned with, i took it off about half an hour ago, took the car for a spin and i noticed it lost ALOT of power..
