Kinetix SSV...

So... Does this full plenum convert the car into somewhat of an Inline 6 from a V6 engine? It looks just like an inline when installed... I know the way the cylinder heads are positioned its still a V6 but the cylinders themselves make it look like an inline.

I just bought one of these strictly for looks.. I need something to sort of back up the exterior mods... My current engine set up will probably win me several awards for ugliest engine bay... My crawford plenum is horribly ugly but I know it gets the job done for sure.

hell no it doesn't make your engine somewhat of an inline 6. That moniker is strictly for cylinder configuration, in our case a "V". A Supra is an inline 6. An M3 is an inline 6. Our G's will be V's unless you do a swap.

Of course, you will have people ask you if it's an inline when you pop your hood. I hope you plan on going FI sometime, otherwise that is one expensive piece of bling on top of your engine.

Just make sure you get it tuned. There are plenty of pros and cons about the SSV manifold. Read up on it over on My350z.com

It resemblems the stock maxima/altima intake design.

NO its has nothing to do with making the car a inline 6, google how a engine works and do some research bro u got some learnin to do.

I may be mistakin but i think the mrev2 gives better gains for na, correct?

Does it even somewhat keep the stock growl of our VQs? I'm really looking at one of these, but I don't get too far away from the sound I have right now with my Motordyne 1/2" spacer, and I plan to pick up an HKS or FI exhaust later this year. Anyone know how this will sound on either exhaust? Any real power gains?

Thanks a lot

It will make the growl sound better.

Hehe, a bolt on conversion from V6 to Inline....that'd be something.

Even with an FI car it is an expensive piece of bling....so hawt though...want to touch the heiny....hooowwwlll.....

Has kinetix decided to release a manifold that actually makes power?
