Intake & Exhaust Questions and info regarding various aftermatket exhaust systems for the G35 (Headers,Y-Pipes, and Cat-Back Systems)

Can someone explain why these two Injen CIA look different?

Can someone explain why these two Injen CIA look different?

thanks guys, i dont get why the design looks soo different. I basically want an injen short ram air for my 06 g35coupe....do i have to specify i want the 2piece short ram conversion when i buy the complete CIA or can i just order a short ram?

I think one is the older design that can be a short ram or a cold air the other is cold air only

so verify this...is there no INJEN that can be a short ram that fits right where the stock airfilter sits...in the picture, the filter would sit mid engine....that would be worthless.

the one on the top is the oldest model. I have the bottom one. Model SP1993. This model is the best and newest one they have. It also has MR Technology. Go to Injen.com and read about it. But I don't see why you would get a CAI and make it a short arm. Just install it all. but if you do want it short then you will have no problem with this intake. And yes it sits exactly where the stock Air filter was.

sucks that they don't sell it anymore. I think it's only available for sedans
