The coupe midpipe with HKS axleback sounds very nice. IMO, it's what these cars should have sounded like from the factory, only a little louder than factory would make it.

[QUOTE=SDGenius]Esprit front pipe replaces mid and y-pipe, pretty rare part and very JDM...

QUOTE]

I'm in the same situation with exhaust, been contemplating the Stillen but figured I'd wait it out for the MD since the parts already posted up look amazing.
I think I already know the answer to my two questions but I'm going to ask anyway.

1. Are there any benefits to getting this, other than rarity and maybe sound?
2. Has anybody actually purchased this item and have sound clips of this?

Borla exahust....?

Yes, if you're smart you'll forget about Borla! Quality and
sound is very, very poor. I doesn't matter if you have a coupe or sedan, they'd have to pay me to run there system. Stillen makes a good quality cat-back system and it's worth whatever they charge, great quality and sound!

i've only seen a few clips w/this part on 350Z's BUT they where pushin' 350ps NA. Esprit was one the 1st tuners to mod the Z when it came out and have a rock solid reputation in Japan. it only runs about $695 sounds great w/a stock muffler and i bet sounds incredible w/an axle back system. i really hope someone w/o a cat-back system buys this. if not, then i have to MIGHT get it for my Wife's G.

What do you guys think about Tanabe Exhaust on the G35? Performance wise, I have no clue, but I dig the deeper growl on that.

I just went for Apexi WS2 muffler + 2.5 straight mid pipe ...
well is very deep and firm on the low RPM..
but on the higher RPM it does sound like this G35
(note: its not my G .. but sounds exactly the same on high RPM)
i like it .. but i mean .. i expected something more baffled and deeper =)
buts its ok .. i paid only 100 for the custom pipes and installation =)
just waiting for my brother changes his exhaust to get his coupe mid pipe =)

That G sounded terrible though.
I'm asking people's opinion about the G35 'cause right now all I have is the
Injen Cold Air Intake
OBX Throttle Spacer
Kinetix SSV Intake Manifold
Stillen headers
Stillen Y-Pipe
and Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust, I have a '06 5AT Coupe, but I'm selling that for hopefully a '06 G35 6MT or an '05. Black or Grey =)

IMO, if you're looking for performance and you didn't buy anything yet, just get a plenum spacer, cams and a reflash like the Osiris. You'll make more power than an exhaust will get you.

Here's my Apex'I N1 ExTi single exit exhaust - I got the complete setup with midpipe. I like it a lot, but keep in mind that it's really loud without the silencer... really loud.

Isn't the Kinetix SSV Intake Manifold just as good as the plenum spacers?

Zackt: That sounded sick, haha. I hope that my money on Tanabe didn't go to waste.
