Wierd, I have the fast Intention test pipes along with their exhaust and I don't have any rasp but do have drone between 1900-2500rpm. Thinking of putting in two more resonators in the mid pipes somewhere.

^ I don't think extra resonators will do much about drone.

go with the tp almost any brand will do get them used also if you can. You will have a better gain and with the right combo there will be no rasp, i had 3 different setups all with different exhaust/ cat / tp combo and settled with the HKS and helix unresonated Tp I did the cell eliminator and it worked most of the time. For me the added preformance it was worth it

So dumb question...

Whats the difference in the $360 FI Test Pipes, then taking it to an exhaust shop to cut out the cats and custom bend straight inserts?

To those of you on the fence about this, I have a little info I've gathered during the last few days of having the Fast Intentions Res. TPs on my stock exhaust. I like everything about the sound except the sound it makes around 3k rpm. I thought I liked it for a while, but now I know I'm not crazy about it. I had to go to about 5 different places to find a place that would install them. I haven't thrown a CEL yet, but I suppose that will come shortly. I can constantly smell gas when at a stop or coming to a stop. The power gain is nice, but I'll probably get some Fast Intentions HFCs before I have to pass emissions in May.

Alright guys. Any updates with the Fast Intensions HFCs? I want to step up to HFCs with my stock exhaust setup for now until I can save up and upgrade the exhaust however I do not want to have my car reeking of gas fumes.

Between the different HFC makes, which one does NOT smell like gas/oil fumes etc?

Thanks in advance

Ive heard nothing but good things about the Crawford HFC's and the Fast Intentions HFC's. I dont think any HFC's should smell like gas/oil.
