So...
Im sure this question has been asked but I just cant seem to find the info Im lookin for. What has everyone heard/experienced from different cai's? Prices range and Im not stingy, I just dont wanna overpay for a product that is gonna give me the same results. Does anyone have dyno proof of gains or a good sound clip? Help me out fellas...and ladies I gues

you wont get much power from a CAI... not enough to feel anyway... INJEN seems to be the best but most like it because its the loudest... if you want power look into the Motordyne Plenum Spacers...

Now the MD Spacer with intake, exhaust, and tune should give you a nice gain in power...

Technically, there is a huge difference between CAI and short ram, but you can't see the gains on any dyno. On the dyno, a short ram will show better power due to the shorter piping, but a true CAI is getting ram air, true cold air at that, much more so than the stock intake with the ram air piece. But the longer piping is bad on the low end. So while the stock intake is adequate enough for everyday street driving, a CAI may be much more beneficial to those bringing their car to the track.Originally Posted by Beebo
