Whats the difference between the two (CAI)

Is there any difference between the two.

Which one is better. Should I pay the extra $100.00

The short tube looks like it will use the stock black tubing that connects to the throttle bodies, while the long tube looks like it replaces everything.

short tube intake kit -

stock engine bay so you can get a look at the intakes -

A pic of the long tube to compare with the short tube -

long tube installed -

IMO, I would get the long tube. But no mod, and neither of these intakes will get you better MPG without a tune.

No, the new HR motors do not need to be tuned, they adapt to mods very nicely.

no intake for the G will give you power. My vote is long tube, since it is a complete short ram setup.

Every ECU will adapt to simple mods like intakes, exhausts, etc... but only a tune will get you better mileage, period. It works even if your car is stock... although many will say it won't be worth getting your car tuned unless you have enough mods to really gain from it.
