i just received my jwt pop-charger for my 04 g35 5at coupe and was having a little trouble putting the rubber trims on the heat shield. I was able to put the trim where needed on the heat shield and the stock power duct but I have one question about that. The trim that goes on the heat shield (the longest piece with three slits) that is closest to the engine (side facing rear of vehicle), that rubber trim faces the opposite direction that what the picture shows on the JWT installation directions that i received and the one on the website. My trim fits only one way and the trim comes out toward the engine while the one in the installation instructions come out and face toward the filter instead of the engine. I've tried turing my trim around but it only fits that way. Are the pictures incorrect or did I receive a trim that is reversed for some reason? Any input will be helpful.

Thanks

The heat shield on the bottom picture of the instruction doesn't look like the heat shield for G35 (not even the same as the top two pics, there's no triangular portion that folds over the pop charger.

I bought my pop charger used from a forum member, didn't even come with the rubber edge trims that connects the heat shield to the air scoop. I made my own airway (tunnel) with a couple rubber pipe connector from Lowe's and it works well. You should be fine putting the pieces on anyway you want, probably won't make much difference.

That's exactly how the heatshield that came with my Pop-Charger looks?

I can't help here until I put mine on tomorrow or the day after...

the pciture at the bottom is the same as the top two, there is a triangle piece that goes on top of the air filter. You can't see it in the bottom picture because of the angle the picture was taken at and because the trim is already on there so you see less of the head shield to know where the curves are..

Does no one else have any input.. Only my trims are backwards or is everyones like that?
