The stalling claim isn't BS assuming you have a 6MT. The POP/Stillen CAI setups will stall out a 6MT if you're heavy on the throttle and at a high rpm (above 5000rpms) and then push the clutch in (ie coasting in neutral). The stall usually happens to people at highway speed.

Power-not really, but what do you expect to get from an intake? It's just an intake.
Sound-yes

Will the big CAI's work on sedans? I'd like to get one with the long tube that goes down into the bumper. Are those pretty effective? I have a PC and a stillen intake tube but i'd like to do somthing different.

i have the pop charger and oem z-tube and pretty much you get is the sound when RPM hit over 4k RPM. performance wise im not sure on MY car but im heard mixed reviews that you gain/lose power. i would just go with the z-tube and not pop charger save some of that mula

PC and OEM Ztube

I have an 05 G35X,(5AT) and I am running the PC and the OEM Z tube. I love the sound, and here in Sacramento we see 110 plus degrees every summer. I have never experienced heat soak from my PC under any circumstances, and I have seen a mild increase in fuel mileage. I have not tuned or done any other modifications whatsoever. I plan on using the Cipher and using the Osiris to tune, but after a few more mods . I havent dynoed my car to see if there is a loss/gain, but the butt dyno tells me it is quicker to get up to that nice powerband.
