RS-R GT2 Exhaust

I was thinking about a new exhaust. Does anybody know anything about the RS-R GT2? Hows is the sound, tip size, performance? Should I get that or the Fujitsubo Exhaust?

Re: RS-R GT2 Exhaust

i know someone who has this exhaust. it does sound good, but is a little loud. the droning is present as well (straight through canister design). his name on this board is mdnt so you should ask him directly how he likes it. hope that helps!

Re: RS-R GT2 Exhaust

I thought I would go for the Stillen SS Headers backed by the Stillen Dual SS Exhaust because the only sound files I listened to made that seem like the natural choice (sound file did NOT have headers). At the time I did think the Fujit. Ex. sounded cool... ...a bit of Japanese Touring Car Championship sound to it... ...but that it might be a little abnoxious with stainless headers.

Thanks for passing along the link from Moog. And I'll go ahead and pass along the "F-YOU!" from my wife, which is sure to come after the eventual exhaust install. lol! I'm changing my exhaust plans. To **** with the neighbors!

I recall the Fujitsubo clip sounding very familiar to the clip in the link above with the Top Secret Pro N1 exhaust. Do they sound similar, or was one of the clips listed under the wrong name? I hate to even go look for prices on the Top Secret Pro N1, considering most of their stuff seems a lot higher than industry average.

Thanks for the link 2Fast! Out of those, I like the following the best:

Apexi N1
Blitz NUR Touring
Powerhouse Amuse R1 Titan
Ganador Vertex Titan
Fujitsubo Titanium
Fujitsubo Legalis R

I'd still love to get some info. (price and where to buy) on the Top Secret Pro N1 (shown in video link at top of thread) if anybody knows anything!

Re: RS-R GT2 Exhaust

The exhaust in the video is made by Top Speed Auto Accessory. (not Top Secret) Their product line is called Pro-1 Performance. I have the prototype exhaust on my coupe, and I sold/installed the exhaust to the 350Z owner in that vid clip. I also sold one to I_Got_Evo on this forum too. I can get you the exhaust, but they're currently on backorder 4-5 weeks.

Re: RS-R GT2 Exhaust

lol Thanks Moog. Read "Top S" and my brain filled in the rest out of habit.

I'm not even getting my G until the end of the year, so any backorder issues can be dealt with pretty conveniently for me, but I will wait I place my G order before I start buying parts.

But I'm definately interested in the Top Speed Auto Accessory Pro-1 Performance exhaust. I'm sure I'll be looking around for a web site if you don't make it back for a while, but I'd still like to hear from you what sort of price the system runs, as well as it's contruction material (mild, stainless, titanium). It sounds great!!!

Re: RS-R GT2 Exhaust

www.topspeedauto.com is their website. Do keep in mind that this exhaust is made for the Z. The Z is a bit longer, so the exhaust tips do sit "in" from the bumper. It also requires an extension piece between the Y pipe and mid pipe, but Top Speed makes that also.
