Hey everyone. I've been lookin at some sound clips of some exhausts for the G35 Coupe. Which would be louder because sometimes videos dont match up right if you get what im sayin. WITHOUT going to full striaght pipes (headers back) Test pipes are ok.
2 Main exhausts that i'm comparing are the:
1.HKS Hi Power
2.Fast Intentions
Those seem to be the loudest / meanest
Wouldnt mind yall throwin in your .02cents from those who have those exhausts or have heard in person.

Hmm.. So im guessing Fast Intentions would be the meanest so far eh?

 

I have DC headers, FI test pipes, and HKS exhaust and everyone in Socal tells me that my exhaust is waaaaaaaay too loud!

 

Mine is real loud... I think it sounds pretty mean. APEXi N1 ExTi... stock y-pipe, stock cats, stock exh manifolds.

Sounds pretty good man. Lol i bet you could get a roar outta the beast with some TP's! But still sounds good

 

Thanks! I was thinking about test pipes... don't want the smell or the rasp though. Right now it is really loud, especially under load.

 

I think that if you get Test pipes on that exhaust it should lessen the drone (if you have any) from what i heard thats what it does to s2k's exhaust.
Test pipes should take out the drone + add more power + give it a more noticeable note.

 

Loudest/meanest in my opinion would be the Motordyne Shockwave....it's probably the most efficient too.

 

i got hks and it is mellow down low and screams up high

 

Ive heard that the HKS soudns pretty nice. But ive never heard of motordyne about to go look it up lol
