Only thing Id replace my borla with would be Fast Intentions. I like my exhaust. Plus, I did some research and it shows some of the best gains too. I bought borla because I have it on my Z28 and I LOVE it.

Man I have 05 AT and my Borla system is great! If you have a bunch of modded parts added to your car of course ur going to sound loud, however, with everything from my sig I still cant hear much, unless I'm all over it. I paid only $870 from CZp in AZ

Red G35-when you did your research was it the Borla that showed the best gains?
I have it on my 07 Tundra and love it and had it on my 97 Mustang S/C GT and loved it also...

$870 is a good price, was that shipped? Did you install it yourself? I have always done my own work....

No love for Nismo? I have it paired to the Motordyne XYZ pipe and it sounds great!

yah, im having the same problem here... buddy of mine owns a G he has a true dual borla catback on his 04. He wants to sell it to me offering $600 including install. but ive been hearing nothing but negative things bout this system.. does anyone know what the gains are? Ive aslo been offered a brand new bassani cat back for $1250 because of discontinuation they letting it go for cheap, the bassani system has been proven dynoed to make 12whp. But Im wondering if i went with the borla i know i would be disapointed reading all the negative feed back.. and if i go bassani im not sure cause i havent heard any feedback what so ever.. or mabey i should just drop for a good HKS, stillen or Injen... I realy like the sound Hks... but its like 2100.. with tax and everything included, Is it worth it? let me know.. cause im soo confused!!!

I personally don't like the sound of HKS exhaust or any of those. That is why I got Borla, they sound completley different. Borla is alot lower and HKS is really high pitched. imo i dont like the high pitched notes of the hks and other exhausts. I was not dissapointed at all when I got my borla exhaust, the only negative reviews I got were from people that like the stock exhaust note more. Listen to videos on youtube of each exhaust and decide which one you like more. Thats what I did and havent looked back.

I actually did the research here on the boards, some one was able to post the gains shown on multiple systems. I cant find the thread, but its here somewhere.
I bought the system from the marketplace here on the forums.
I had the fellas at work(dealership) install it for me. =)

I keep hearing about "all the negative feedback" on Borla and the only person I know of is Gary that said he did not like Borla...who/where are all of these other people that have proven power loss/issues with Borla?

I have the borla exhaust for my car. I've had it since 04 on my coupe. It was my first mod. Mated with stock cats the car actually sounded quieter with the borla exhaust. When i dynoed the car on the dynojet I made 1HP with no change in torque. I was disappointed to say the least but i got the exhaust used for a cheap price from here so I shouldn't really complain. As far as construction I really dislike that the exhaust uses clamps to hold it together. It makes it more prone to leak if not properly torqued down. I wish they would have used flanges instead. I still have it on my car and am looking to upgrade to either fast intentions or motordyne exhaust.

It is because everyone has an idea that Borla is only used on American Muscle..I get that I not going to put HKS on my Saleen..but I bet anything you put me up against another car with different exhaust same bolt ons I will win 5AT or 6MT..I mean if you want a bunch of rasp at high RPMs and get pulled over by chippie be my guest..I'm just looking to save you headaches down the road
