Noob question

Alright I have a bone stock O3 coupe 6mt and I'm starting to really get the mod bug. So I had all intentions of starting off with a motordyne plenum because it seems like the first step for everyone, now a few friends of mine are saying for the same price you should get an injen cai. I know there not in the same boat but if you had like 300 to spend which would it be and why? Or what else

Thanks phil

Get the plenum spacer as it will yield gains where the intake will get you little if any. Also, the spacer will give significant gains where the MREV2 won't do much for a non-revup motor. I think there are two MD 5/16 spacers for sale in the marketplace.

Spacer FTW, and if you do the Ebay/Microsoft Live/PayPal thing (25% cash back) there will be money coming back for a z tube.

+1000 on that. Exactly what I was going to say.

People have mixed opinions on sound from a spacer. There is a full thread about it somewhere. I hear a bit more of a 'whoosh' at high rpm at wide open throttle.
