Hi guys any ideas how to make the sound a bit quietly???.I have 2005 sedan and few days ago i changed the midpipe i put the one from 2003 coupe and the sound is nice but a little too loud .I was thinking to change the gaskets from y-pipe to midpipe and from midpipe to muffler but i don't know if it will help. A gasket will not alter the sound.

the only thing you could do is to add a bigger resonator on the midpipe. any muffler shop should be able to do that from you.

if you want a quiet exhaust then you shouldn't have started modifying the OEM setup. every exhaust mod (that i know of) is meant to open/free up flow, reduce restrictions, etc...which all act to increase decibels. typically the quietest setup is the stock system.

I knew these members from Canada were smart! He's correct, if you don't
like the sound put your OEM mid-pipe back on....issue fixed.

Swap the pipe back.

I actually think the sound of the stock exhaust is loud enough for me. I have my loud fun car, so i want something quiet to drive around in during the week.

Add a larger or additional resonator in-line.
