Just ordered my Fast Intentions Exhaust and TP's

I just ordered them yestereday from Tony @ Fastintentions. Went with the non polished SS intimidator with resonated test pipes. These are for my wife's 03 6mt coupe for a xmas present. I did a lot of research and listened to a bunch of sound clips of many different setups before i choose this one. Tony gave me a great deal and EXCELLENT customer service. Great guy to deal with. I'll let you guys know how it all turns out after I receive it and get it all installed

Good choice. I have it and I love it. I'm a little disappointed in the Motodyne exhaust and really glad I didn't wait for that. The FI is one of the best exhausts on the market for the coupe. Sounds awesome and really good quality.

I had this discussion with Tony already. Basically I'm not a fan of the look - too tunerish for me. I'm not really into the burnt TI look or the small exhaust canisters or the bolts that hold the tips on. I'm sure the quality is top notch and the XYZ pipe with the removable cats is cool but the exhaust is just not my taste.

Tony said that this was his design decision an will be making a more conservative looking one in the future.

Again, just my perferences.

How is this exhaust compared to the HKS Hi-Power? Quality? Sound? Price?

Both Great quality... Both sound completely different... I believe the Fast Intentions is cheaper but both are great exhaust just go with what you like

Congrats on the exhaust, and G/L with the Install. Nothing is a better feeling then after you get it all bolted up and start it up and hear it for the first time.

+1 - It is way more rewarding doing it yourself and I find it really relaxing. Couple of tips - first, don't bother trying to remove the exhaust hanger out of the rubber joint while you are under the car. It is damn near impossible. Remove the hangers by unbolting the three bolts holding the hangers on and take them all down as a unit while still attached to the exhaust. Lube the bolts up first with a whole lot of PBBlaster and let it sit for about 30 minutes.

You will save your self a lot of frustration and time this way. I did mine in about 2 hours start to finish and the car was 5 years old and things were rusted in there pretty good.

well I installed them yesterday. Initial reaction, WOW. The sound clips didnt do it justice. First off, build quality was top notch. Install was straightforward due mostly in fact to detailed instructions. The sound is amazing. My wife and I both agree that it has more of an exoctic sound to it now. A sound more related to porsches rather than japanese tuner cars. At idle it sounds stock but, a quick rev changes that fast. It is a very, very clean sound. I recorded a video of the stock exhaust right before I put on this one. I still need to record one of the new one now and then I will post them on here.
