The crawford headers are different from Zerd long tube headers.
Zerd headers replace your cats as well but Crawford just make equal length headers.
The only long tube headers I can think of right now is Megan.

Crawford’s are the longest "shorties"... not a traditional "long tube" that omit cats... its a good option if you need (or want) to keep cats though - there aren’t any others (that I know of) with tubes as long (they are a PITA to install because of it).

I wish I could get away with true long tube headers - but the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia would crucify me.

I believe the company name in question is "Xerd" and they did in fact make true long tube headers for the VQ35DE, however, I believe the company no longer exists. The tubes on the Xerds were over twice the lenght of any aftermarket header available for the G/Z. The Crawford, DC, Stillen, etc, are still shorty headers, IMO.

if you seriously want a set of true long tube headers - wait for Z-1 on my350Z to finish his project... I haven’t checked lately, but just before I went with Crawford, he was having a set of long tubes made... he wasn’t sure if they would go into production (I presume it depends on the performance)... If I were considering true long tube, I would have waited for his outcome.

Not to be a ****, but how can you make a judgement like that with such a tiny picture?? They seem like a good alternative to the $900 Crawfords.

With that said, back in Mustang world there was not enough of a performance difference to warrant the added install hassle.

They're $300 chinese made headers w/ cat deletes! There's no way they are quality. Megan are known for sh@t qc/poor welds/fitment.

Do you really want to do 6-7 hour labors to install $300 headers that will probably crack/cause problems down the road?

I don't see how you are comparing these to Crawfords. Crawfords are very good quality "shorty" headers, while the Megan's are long tube chinese made crap.

But hey, give it a go and install these $300 long tube headers and let us know how they turn out for you
